The Artist's Gallery"Showcasing the artistic talents of Rucker Boulevard Elementary School's young painters, etchers, sketchers, and crayonologists."
To celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday Mrs. Hixson's class read the story The Shape of Me and Other Stuff. In this book Dr. Seuss taught us how to discover different shapes in our world. Dr. Seuss was famous for using his imagination. In Dr. Seuss style, the students were asked to create a shape in their mind and draw it with their eyes closed. Once their eyes were opened, the students had to create a REAL shape from their original shape.
